In 2018 David started his own law firm and needed a brand identity with business collateral. It was important that his brand portray a sense of stability and trustworthiness while being caring and accessible. At the same time, we wanted to stay away from often over-used legal icons such as the gavel and scales (though the shape of a gavel is hinted at in David’s logo).
Reaching out to a lawyer—especially for wills, trusts and property law—can be intimidating and frightening to potential clients. To encourage a feeling of warmth and compassion, David’s final brand features a diverse ranges of families all all stages of life and a very warm color palette.
