A logo might be the first thing a person sees when they get your product, enter your space or visit your website. I’m always asking how can I best visually capture who you are in one tiny image while still delighting you, the client. I’ve been fortunate to work with several small businesses and individuals to create their logo and wanted to share some of these with you.
Let’s start with logos that I have created from scratch. For these, I worked with my clients to understand their business, their goals and their audience .

LOGO PAIRINGS
I’ve worked with Bookminders for some time now. They came to me with a logo already in place and a recent rebrand by a previous designer.

Recently they decided to grow their Practiceminders program. We worked together to create a program logo to partner with their existing logo. As a bonus, they are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and wanted an anniversary seal for their marketing. Both logos use Bookminders’ brand colors and (in the case of the seal) their brand font.
LOGO REFRESH
Sometimes a business doesn’t need a full rebranded logo. Instead, they’re looking for an updated look.
Kunkle Law and Blue Ox
I actually reached out to Ken to help me with my client contracts. In the course of our conversation, Ken asked if I could help him to create a logo for a new branch of his business and to re-work his existing logo so they would be a visual pair.
From Ken’s original logo,

I created a brand new logo for Blue Ox. Once approved, I updated his existing logo to have a similar visual feel as the original while paring in style, color and typeface with the new Blue Ox logo.
MJS Productions
Mike at MJS Productions had not updated his logo in a long time. As part of the decision to create a brand-new website, I also updated his logo.
I wanted to maintain the filmstrip look but in a clean, modern way.
EVENT/CAMPAIGN LOGOS
Business logos aren’t the only logos clients have requested. I’ve also worked with a consultant on capital campaign designs for two area churches. Both campaigns have included branded elements such as flyers, signs, letters and a campaign brochure. Created first, the logo guides the look and feel of all campaign elements.
